An increasing number of devices capture different types of data. With almost everyone having a smartphone today, they can be used to enable smart services benefiting many; for example individual citizens users through to their government.
With Deep Learning techniques such as Object Recognition, pictures and videos captured from smartphones we can answer questions like: – How can accidents be identified from pictures, to deploy the right type of resources? – How many persons are waiting on a train platform? Do we need extra capacity for it? – Is there something broken that needs to be fixed? – Where can I find parking?
