Although Artificial intelligence (AI) has already entered and changed different aspects in software engineering however it cannot change conventional software testing overnight. The testing’s fundamental ideas and quality assurance are still heavily dependent on human judgment and therefore AI is utilized conservatively in the testing domain in the industry. On the other hand, sometimes the complexity of AI can make the usage of it a little less popular in industries. Therefore, optimizing the trade-off between complexity, accuracy, and utility is a golden key in today’s applied and industrial research. This talk will give a review of applying AI technology for improving software testing in both the Telecom and the safety-critical system domain.
