Samsung Electronics has announced a plan to double the number of its AI-powered mobile devices to 800 million units by the end of 2026. The co-CEO T.M. Roh declared that the company will apply AI to “all products, all functions, and all services” as quickly as possible.
The strategy, centered on a deep partnership with Google’s Gemini 3, aims to democratize artificial intelligence across the entire Galaxy ecosystem, from budget tablets to the newly unveiled Galaxy Z TriFold.
This expansion is part of a broader effort to maintain market share amid increasing competition from global tech manufacturers. By scaling these features, Samsung aims to establish itself as a primary provider of integrated ‘Ambient AI’ and personalized digital assistant experiences.
