This sentiment, shared during the closing panel of the 2025 NDSML Summit, perfectly captured the electric atmosphere in the room. As the 10th-anniversary milestone drew to a close, hosts Goran and Robert, joined by a panel of industry moderators, reflected on a decade of transformation. From “Wishes” to Workflows
For years, the NDSML stage was a place for visionary roadmaps and theoretical architectures. Ranging from heavyweights like DeepMind and Meta to local innovators.
The discussions didn’t just hover over high-level AI, but they went into the “nitty-gritty” of infrastructure, data engineering, and the reality of deployment. Whether it was navigating the complexities of sovereign AI clouds or the burgeoning world of “Agentic Analytics”, the summit provided a masterclass in execution.
The Rise of “Vibe Analytics” and Agentic Intelligence
One of the interesting moments from the closing panel was the emergence of new industry terminology: the controversial “Vibe Analytics”.
Goran challenged the audience: “For too long, the finger of innovation has been pointed at tech teams to fix the business,” he noted. We are entering the era of the AI Factory, where the frameworks are ready, the processes are known, and the talent is poised. The missing link is educated business leadership.

- Dácil Hernández presented a compelling argument for why the next phase of AI innovation requires the Legal and Business departments to share the stage with Data Scientists.
- A candid discussion on the challenges of fostering female talent in the industry and how NDSML is working to ensure the next generation of speakers reflects the full scope of the community.
- The Nordic region is carving out its own identity in a geopolitical landscape dominated by global public clouds, focusing on sovereignty and local AI maintenance.
A Decade of Community
The 10th NDSML Summit was more than a technical conference. From a few buddies who founded the movement to the fresh faces entering a world where AI is as common as electricity, the sense of community is notable. As Goran said it, “You are the pioneers who are going to change the world. Don’t ever forget that.”
