Software startup Lovable has acquired Sutro, a developer platform focused on application behavior, security, and backend reliability, the company announced. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
As part of the acquisition, they shared in their announcement that Sutro founder Tomas Halgas and engineers Max Gfeller, Tony Zhan, and Hirad Arshadi will join Lovable. Halgas will assume the role of leading Lovable’s technical evangelism efforts.
Lovable plans to integrate Sutro’s technology and team expertise to improve software transparency, reliability, and backend system management for its users.
Founded five years ago, Sutro developed a language, compiler, and backend platform designed to make application rules and system behavior explicit.
