Fujitsu unveiled Fujitsu Kozuchi Physical AI 1.0, a breakthrough platform created in collaboration with NVIDIA to merge autonomous digital agents with physical operations. The new system utilizes Fujitsu’s Takane LLM and NVIDIA’s NIM microservices to automate high-stakes enterprise tasks like procurement and compliance. By utilizing a “secure gateway” for agent communication, the platform allows multiple AI agents to safely collaborate on confidential data.
Technically, the platform features a visual interface for constructing these multi-agent workflows and utilizes a Secure Inter-Agent Gateway to ensure that data exchanges between various autonomous entities remain encrypted and private.
Fujitsu has already reported that internal tests in its own purchasing department resulted in a 50% reduction in order confirmation workloads and expects this technology to become the foundation for a new era of robotics, where AI agents move beyond the screen to directly manage physical robot fleets in factories and warehouses by late 2026.
