The global professional services firm Deloitte, has announced the launch of a unified Deloitte EMEA, merging 16 member practices across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa into a single regional entity. Scheduled to become effective on June 1, 2026, the consolidation will bring together 132,000 professionals across more than 80 countries, representing approximately €20 billion in combined annual revenue.
The leadership team will be headed by Richard Houston as CEO, supported by Volker Krug as Deputy CEO and Sami Rahal as Chair. Global CEO Joe Ucuzoglu described the move as a pivotal step in aligning the firm’s expertise with the evolving needs of the global economy.
To address rapid technological shifts, the new firm will invest €1.5 billion over the next four years into high-growth areas, specifically focusing on Generative AI and sovereign cloud capabilities. While local firms will continue to manage regional service delivery, the unified structure is designed to provide seamless, large-scale digital solutions for multinational clients.
