Databricks, a software company, announced a new partnership with STATION F, a corporate startup campus, to support European founders in developing and scaling artificial intelligence applications. Under the agreement, Databricks will establish a dedicated office at the Paris-based campus, providing startups with direct access to its engineering teams and specialized tools.
The collaboration focuses on enabling founders to build AI agents and apps using Databricks’ latest technologies, including Lakebase, a serverless Postgres database designed for AI workloads and Genie, a conversational AI agent for data analysis. Participating startups will receive technical coaching, access to “vibe coding” workshops, and specialized hackathons aimed at moving AI projects from experimentation into production.
The initiative follows a significant surge in AI investment across Europe, which accounted for nearly 40% of the region’s venture capital deal value in 2025. To further support this growth, Databricks is launching a regional startup team to assist companies from the pre-seed to Series B stages. This effort complements existing investments from Databricks Ventures, which recently participated in a $330 million Series B funding round for the AI-native development platform Lovable.
