Databricks Surpasses Major Revenue Milestone Powered by Rapid AI Infrastructure Growth 

Databricks, the Data and AI company behind a unified platform for building and scaling data apps, analytics, and autonomous AI agents, announced a ~€4.3 billion strategic funding round at a €163 billion valuation. The financing follows a second quarter in which Databricks surpassed a €6 billion annualized revenue run-rate. The company shared that it delivered over 80% year-over-year revenue growth while maintaining positive adjusted free cash flow over the last 12 months.

In their announcement, they share that their financial performance was driven by broad platform adoption, with more than 1,000 customers consuming over €856,000 annually and over 100 exceeding €8.6 million. Among its specific products, the Lakehouse data warehousing solution reached a €1.28 billion revenue run-rate (growing over 100% year-over-year) while Lakebase, its serverless Postgres database for AI agents, crossed the €85.6 million mark.

Databricks plans to use the new capital to deepen investments in its core enterprise AI suite.
