Stockholm, Sweden; August 18, 2026: Goran Cvetanovski, Founder and CEO of Hyperight AB, has been named one of the ten most influential people in the Swedish event industry for 2026 by Eventeffect, the country’s leading independent trade publication for the events, meetings, and exhibitions sector. Cvetanovski was recognized on Eventeffect’s annual Topp10 list, which highlights the voices shaping the conversation around the future of events, brand experience, and the meetings industry in Sweden.
Eventeffect’s editorial team credited Cvetanovski with building the Data Innovation Summit into an international meeting point for the global data and AI community, with Sweden as its base, while remaining an active content creator and stage presence within the industry.
From a Stockholm Meetup to a Global Movement
Hyperight was founded 11 years ago on a simple premise: that the data and AI community deserved an event built as a genuine knowledge-sharing platform, not a sales floor. That premise became the Data Innovation Summit, which has since grown from a regional gathering in Stockholm into an international series with editions in Dubai, Singapore, and Melbourne. The Stockholm flagship capped at roughly 3,500 delegates to preserve the quality of the experience is now widely regarded as one of the most influential data and AI events in the world.
The 11th edition of the Data Innovation Summit, held in May 2026 at Kistamässan in Stockholm, drew more than 3,200 international delegates, 300 speakers, and 15 dedicated stages across three days, covering everything from generative AI at scale to data engineering, governance, and agentic AI systems in production.
Around that flagship, Hyperight has built a wider portfolio of platforms serving close to 100,000 data and AI practitioners worldwide, including:
Data 2030 Summit — a Nordic roundtable event now in its 11th year, focused on data governance, architecture, and AI-ready data foundations
NDSML Summit (Nordic Data Science & Machine Learning Summit) — Europe’s premier gathering for data science, machine learning, and Agentic AI leaders, also marking its 11th edition
DISx — sector-specific summits extending the Data Innovation Summit model into focused industry verticals
TPO33 — invitation-only executive roundtables for senior data and AI leaders
Nordic 100 — a recognition list honoring practitioners doing real, operational data and AI work
DAIR Awards (Data and AI Readiness) — honoring organizations demonstrating measurable business and societal impact through data and AI, now fully integrated into the flagship summit program
Hyperight.com — a media platform hosting more than 1,500 practical case studies, interviews, and session recordings on a freemium model, serving as a year-round knowledge resource for the global data and AI community
Hyperight’s growth has also been recognized independently in Sweden’s business community: the company has secured the country’s “Branschtillväxt” industry growth award for three consecutive years, 2024 through 2026.
A Recognition Built on Two Decades of Work
Cvetanovski’s inclusion on the Eventeffect Topp10 list caps roughly 20 years of work in the events industry, the last 11 of which have gone into building Hyperight from the ground up.
“This isn’t a solo achievement,” said Cvetanovski. “It’s every speaker who trusted us with their story, every partner who believed in the vision before it was obvious, and every person on the Hyperight team who does the unglamorous work that makes an event actually work. What we set out to build eleven years ago was never just an event; it was a community platform. Seeing that recognized alongside some of the most serious, world-class work in the Swedish event industry means a great deal.”

Eventeffect’s Topp10 list is compiled annually based on verified sources reflecting visibility and influence over the preceding year, spanning the event, brand experience, expo, and event-tech industries in Sweden. According to Eventeffect CEO Victor Träff, the list aims to highlight leaders and industry voices who share knowledge, move the conversation forward, and put current changes into a larger context.
