ServiceNow, a platform-as-a-service that is designed to support IT service management and help desk functionality with automated workflows, announced its agreement to acquire the Israeli-founded cybersecurity firm Armis for $7.75 billion in cash. This is ServiceNow’s largest acquisition to date and marks a massive strategic shift toward becoming a dominant force in AI-driven cybersecurity.
The acquisition aims to integrate Armis’s specialized “cyber exposure management” directly into ServiceNow’s workflow platform. By combining real-time asset visibility with automated remediation, ServiceNow intends to transition from a coordination layer to a proactive “AI control tower” for enterprise security. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2026, pending regulatory approval.
