Zoom Communications has expanded its enterprise agentic AI platform, evolving from simple meeting summaries to a “system of action” that automates business tasks. The core of this update is the rollout of AI Companion 3.0 across Zoom Workplace, Phone, and CX, which now allows organizations to deploy no-code AI agents. These agents can trigger complex workflows across third-party systems directly from a meeting or call.
To support this shift toward execution, Zoom introduced AI Docs, AI Sheets, and AI Slides – “AI canvases”, enabling teams to instantly turn conversation insights into structured project files. Additional updates include a live voice translator for meetings, deepfake risk detection for enhanced security, and a mobile-first Zoom Phone experience that integrates AI capabilities into native smartphone dialers.
