Trustpilot Group PLC, a Danish consumer business that operates a review website hosting reviews of businesses worldwide, has confirmed a significant shift in how its data is utilized within the artificial intelligence ecosystem, as of March 2026.
“Strategic focus has driven a dramatic rise in Large Language Models (LLM) exposure, with click-throughs from AI search up 1490% YoY”, was stated in their report for fiscal year 2025, shared on March 17, 2026.
They have shared that internal data from the company indicates that Trustpilot was the fifth most-cited domain globally on ChatGPT in January 2026. They attributed this trend to AI agents prioritizing verified, human-generated feedback to fulfill consumer research queries.
Trustpilot has also deployed its own AI-driven fraud detection systems. These proprietary models reportedly identify and remove over 90% of fraudulent content automatically, intended to maintain the data integrity required by its AI partners and users.
