This talk at the Data Innovation Summit 2023 describes which business skills are most essential for analytics professionals and how analytic leaders can nurture these skills within their teams. Drawing on best practices, published research, case studies and personal anecdotes from two decades of industry experience, we discuss skills related to Company, Colleagues, Storytelling, Expectations, Results and Careers–emphasizing how each relates to the unique position analytics professionals hold within a larger organization.
