Meta and AMD, American multinational technology companies, have finalized a multi-year, multi-generation agreement to deploy up to 6 gigawatts of AI computing power across Meta’s global infrastructure. This partnership, announced on February 24, 2026, aims to accelerate the development and deployment of next-generation AI models by aligning the companies’ roadmaps across silicon, systems and software.
According to their announcements, the first phase of the deployment is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2026. The infrastructure is set to also integrate 6th Gen AMD EPYC CPUs, codenamed “Venice,” and utilize the jointly developed AMD Helios rack-scale architecture.
