Foxconn, the world’s largest electronics manufacturer, reported a record $82.7 billion (NT$2.6 trillion) in revenue for the final quarter of 2025. This 22% surge was driven primarily by an explosion in demand for AI servers, comfortably beating market estimates.
While its smartphone business remained flat due to currency fluctuations, Foxconn’s Cloud and Networking division saw massive growth. As the primary assembler for Nvidia’s Blackwell chips and a new hardware partner for OpenAI, Foxconn has successfully pivoted from a phone manufacturer to a critical provider of global AI infrastructure. Sales for December alone set an all-time monthly record, rising nearly 32% year-on-year.
By expanding into AI server production, the company signaled that it is no longer “just the iPhone company”, but it has established a significant presence in the physical infrastructure supporting the AI industry.
