FIFA and Lenovo Level the Playing Field with ‘FIFA AI Pro’ Across All 48 World Cup Nations

In a shift for international football, all 48 competing nations at the FIFA World Cup 2026™ have integrated FIFA AI Pro, an artificial intelligence system developed by Lenovo.

Built on Lenovo’s AI Factory and xIQ agent platform, in their press release, Lenovo shared that the tool acts as a “Knowledge Super Agent”. It orchestrates multiple specialized AI agents to scan millions of data points, analyze over 2,000 tactical metrics, and generate instant performance reports, visual graphs, and 3D match recreations in minutes.

“The success of FIFA AI Pro at the FIFA World Cup 2026 has marked the beginning of a new era in match analysis and preparation. By automating the search, organization and interpretation of vast amounts of match data and video content, the experts can now spend less time searching for information or manually cutting footage and more time focusing on what truly matters: performance insights, tactical decision-making and helping teams gain a competitive edge”

— as said in the Lenovo press release Arsène Wenger, FIFA Chief of Global Football Development

Using FIFA’s custom Football Language, the platform processes natural language queries in multiple languages, offering fast and deep-thinking modes tailored to tactical analysts.

Previously, deep technical analysis was reserved for the wealthiest federations. FIFA AI Pro granted equal analytical power to every nation, allowing debutants and smaller countries to prepare with elite-level insights.

Lenovo shares that the tournament has already seen some interesting results. Debutants like Cabo Verde went undefeated in regular time drawing with Spain and taking Argentina to extra time. Curaçao, Congo DR, Ghana, and Paraguay all pulled off historic results against traditional powerhouses.

All the process and the knowledge behind this technology can be seen in the session for the Data Innovation Summit 2026: Lenovo fast-tracks AI value with advanced inferencing and use case solutions like the FIFA World Cup 2026.
