Front-end development is always about creating engaging visualized UI that users integrate with. But is a front-end engineer’s career in danger due to the rise of AI and the powerful tool of ChatGPT? In this talk at the Data Innovation Summit 2024, we have Teresa Wu from JP Morgan Chase! In her talk, Teresa gives an overview of few keywords in the AI and Machine learning world, such as: types of ML, LLM, NLP, generative, GPT, ChatGPT and prompts, which then leads into the conversation of how ChatGPT helps engineers to work better, giving a demo of making a front-end application using ChatGPT. Attendees experience how AI can assist developers in creating code in a more efficient way, and how we can code smarter using AI tools. Then it continues on to questions of whether there are any concerns or drawbacks. How should front-end engineers evolve to adapt to new tools and accelerate our day-to-day life?
