The German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom projects non-U.S. AI-related business revenues to reach approximately 250 million euros by 2026 and 800 million euros by 2030, driven by its Munich Industrial AI Cloud, automated SME platforms, and consumer features like the Magenta AI Assistant.
The company has detailed its group-wide artificial intelligence strategy, confirming its financial forecast while outlining plans to boost revenue, cut costs, and improve service quality, noting that through automation across network operations, administration, software development, and customer service it targets gross savings outside the U.S. of roughly 1.1 billion euros by 2027 and 2.5 billion euros in indirect costs by 2030, relative to 2023 levels. Up to 150 million euros of these savings will directly fund fiber-optic expansion in Germany.
Operationally, tools such as the “RAN Guardian Agent” have cut network response times to one minute, while AI support in customer service has reduced complaints by 30 percent, backed by AI training for more than 100,000 employees.
