Zurich-based AI infrastructure startup Rapidata has secured €7.2 million in a seed funding round co-led by Canaan Partners and IA Ventures to address the critical bottleneck of data labeling in AI development. The company’s platform significantly reduces the time required for Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) by integrating micro-tasks directly into digital advertising spaces.
According to Rapidata, by leveraging existing global ad infrastructure, it can process millions of human evaluations in minutes rather than days. This approach allows AI developers to obtain high-quality, diverse feedback from a vast network of real-world users at unprecedented speed. The newly raised capital will be used to expand the company’s global reach and further enhance its technology, enabling faster iteration cycles for large language models and other sophisticated AI systems.
