As we convene for the 11th edition of the Data Innovation Summit in Stockholm, the Sovereignty, Infrastructure, and Security Stage stands as the definitive forum for the architects of the modern enterprise. In an era where data autonomy and resilient systems are the bedrocks of sustainable innovation, this stage offers a curated journey through the most pressing challenges and lucrative opportunities in the field. From the initial welcoming notes to the high-level strategic dialogues, we invite practitioners and leaders to engage with a community dedicated to building the secure, scalable foundations required to thrive in the age of AI.

Stage 7 – Day 1

Day 1 of the Sovereignty, Infrastructure, and Security Stage at the 11th edition of the Data Innovation Summit kicks off with a high-octane lineup designed for the modern practitioner. Following welcoming notes from founder Goran Cvetanovski and the strategic framing of Chairman Henrik Göthberg , attendees will dive into a visionary dialogue on the “Future Outlook” with Anders Ynnerman and Anders Arpteg. This stage bridges the gap between technical architecture and human intelligence, featuring Andy Cotgreave’s exploration of the indispensable role of human insight, and Maria Wiss’s deep dive into how top-tier organizations are extracting tangible business value from AI. With Stephen Brobst decoding the shift toward Agentic AI and Angelo Rivano delivering a powerful closing keynote on the European tech landscape, Day 1 is an unmissable masterclass in balancing innovation with robust infrastructure.

On the first day, the M7 stage will also include some of the following speakers:

  • Antonio Martiradonna – CISO | Orkla ASA
  • Casper Slothuus – AI Software Solution Architect | HP Inc
  • Adeiza Yisa – Business Information Security Office (BISO) Advisor | Shell
  • Per Myrseth – Senior Researcher, Cyber Security | DNV, Research and Development
  • Ole Petter Johnsen – Solution Architect & AI Expert | Cloudian
  • Annika Thoresson – AI enablement Lead | Riksbanken
  • Jacqueline Berger– Data Scientist | Raiffeisenbank International

The stage will be supported by Anastasiia Glebova as a Moderator and omni as a Stage Partner.

Stage M7 – Day 2

Day 2 shifts gears toward the structural and defensive pillars that define the next industrial revolution. After opening remarks from Anastasiia Glebova, Kevin Shin of Samsung Semiconductor Inc. will set a bold tone by illustrating how the fusion of AI and security moves organizations from a defensive posture to an offensive competitive advantage. The conversation evolves into the organizational impact of these technologies with David Meyer, who will examine how AI is fundamentally reshaping company dynamics. For the data architects in the room, Joe Reis will provide a critical look at the evolution of data modeling in the age of AI. Both days culminate in a comprehensive wrap-up by the Chairman, ensuring that practitioners walk away with a unified roadmap for navigating the complexities of sovereignty and security in a data-driven world.

Day 2 on the M7 stage will include sessions from:

  • Jens Henrik Thomsen – Director and Market Leader Solutions & Services Nordics & Espen Hjertø – CTO Nordics & Baltics | Lenovo

This strategy and technical stage brings CIOs, CISOs, cybersecurity managers, cloud ops engineers, DevSecOps leaders, and risk officers together to discuss ways to build and secure AI-ready infrastructure, cloud and hybrid scalability, privacy by design, zero trust approaches, cost efficiency, and resilience for mission-critical AI workloads.

Industry Day

The Data Innovation Summit (DIS) is setting a new standard this year with the addition of a third day dedicated exclusively to Industry Day. This premier segment is designed to spotlight high-impact, real-world applications and foster the high-level cross-sector collaboration that defines today’s market leaders. It is an essential forum for those committed to transforming theoretical data potential into measurable, tangible business value.

For the first time, the day’s programming features elite, hands-on Masterclasses led by Joe Reis, the visionary author of Fundamentals of Data Engineering (O’Reilly) and co-creator of the acclaimed Coursera data engineering specialization alongside Andrew Ng. A world-renowned keynote speaker and influential voice through his podcast and blog, Joe is currently distilling the future of the field into his upcoming work, Mixed Model Arts.

For those eager to prove their mettle in the technical trenches, we are introducing another novelty – a competitive Hackathon. This high-energy arena is designed for practitioners to stress-test their skills against complex, real-world challenges in a race for innovation.

Keep a close watch on this space as we unveil further details and exclusive insights in our upcoming articles. This is an evolution of the summit you wouldn’t want to miss.

Securing the Future

The insights shared across these two days represent more than just a series of presentations; they constitute a strategic blueprint for the next generation of data infrastructure. This is an essential gathering for those who refuse to settle for the status quo and are ready to redefine what is possible in the data-driven landscape. We look forward to welcoming you to the Leading and Most Influential Applied Data, Analytics & AI Event in the world – the Data Innovation Summit in Stockholm for an experience that will resonate long after the summit concludes.
