The latest tpo33 Chief Data Officer (CDO) Edition gathered 33 of the most influential Data and AI practitioners from the finance and banking sectors, at Neera, Dubai, today. The summit focused on “Empowering AI with Actionable, Productized, and Governed Data”.

Amidst today’s gathering of the financial sector’s top minds, the organizers Hyperight AB announced a strategic expansion of its global operations: the launch of the Hyperight Corporate Training Division.

The new division represents a significant evolution for Hyperight AB, moving beyond its reputation as a the leading international event service provider into the realm of high-level professional development.

Keynote speakers at the summit underscored the urgency of this mission. Tim Falla, Partner and Founder of Affinity Reply, addressed the strategic frameworks necessary for high-impact AI, while Kartik Iyer, CDO at Arab Bank, closed the event with a compelling case for the “industrialization of data.” Iyer’s session shifted the narrative, viewing data not as a static resource, but as a “dynamic, outcome-focused product.”

Naziha Khan, former Data Governance & AI Leader at Mashreq Bank, took the stage to deliver a high-impact session titled “Operationalizing Trust: Lessons from Enterprise Data & AI Governance in Practice.” Drawing from years of leadership in the region’s banking sector, Naziha addressed one of the most pressing challenges for modern CDOs: how to build governance frameworks that act as accelerators rather than roadblocks.

“Deep dives, bold ideas, and game-changing strategies—this is where the magic happens,” noted the event organizers, highlighting the collaborative spirit of the Dubai summit.

Growing Need for Enterprise AI Readiness

The newly announced Corporate Training Division, initially focusing on the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, will offer a three-tier curriculum:

  • Open Programs: Public workshops for cross-industry networking.
  • In-house Training: Direct-to-enterprise skill building.
  • Tailored Certifications: Bespoke programs designed to align with specific corporate operating models.

“Over the past years, through our summits and executive forums, we have seen a clear gap between technology adoption and organizational readiness,” the company stated. “This division is our response: practical, business-driven, and aligned with real-world enterprise needs”, Goran Cvetanovski, Founder & CEO of Hyperight AB, posted on LinkedIn.

Strengthening the Mission

The establishment of this division marks a milestone in Hyperight’s mission to help large-scale organizations turn AI capabilities into measurable business impact. By focusing on leadership and systematic skill-building, the division aims to help enterprises move past legacy hurdles and toward sustainable digital transformation.

As the financial landscape becomes increasingly data-driven, Hyperight’s move suggests that the next frontier of the AI revolution isn’t just better algorithms, but people that are better prepared.

While financial institutions race to integrate generative AI and machine learning, the event highlighted a growing consensus: AI is only as powerful as the data frameworks supporting it.
