Stockholm-based startup Brickanta, AI-native agentic platform for construction bid analysis, cost estimation and procurement, has successfully closed a €6.7 million seed funding round (equivalent to $8 million) to integrate advanced AI into the most critical decision-making stages of construction projects. The investment was led by Northzone, the global venture capital firm, alongside construction technology pioneers such as Spacemaker, which joined the Autodesk portfolio in 2020.
The capital infusion will support Brickanta’s mission to digitize the pre-build phase, where complex variables in planning and procurement often lead to costly delays. By leveraging agentic AI to manage these foundational workflows, the company aims to modernize an industry that has historically struggled with productivity.
