Gemini, Google’s AI platform is experiencing outages as users report errors that started around 1PM (CEST) zone. Among the most common errors that appear are the 13, 1076, 1099.
According to Google Help the errors explain as:
- 13 – typically an internal server-side glitch or connection timeout),
- 1076 – typically points to a temporary server outage on Google’s end, a corrupted browsing session, or a specific chat thread that has grown too large and hit backend processing/token limits,
- 1099 – the AI’s context window has overflowed (e.g., the chat history is too long) or the server has timed out while trying to analyze your prompt.
Users from different locations also report 440 and 480 errors.
As of now, there is no official statement from Google’s Gemini status page about this outage .
